At Reveal36, employers searching for new talent can meet graduates and view samples of their portfolios. Two sessions are offered this year. Graduates will accompany their work during the first session from 11:30 am–1:00 pm. Employers who wish to view portfolios only can explore the exhibition from 1:30–3:00 pm. This is the first year that employers will have the opportunity to meet graduates of The Modern’s first Bachelor’s Completion Program in Design Leadership and see their stunning portfolios.
The Modern will also host Commencement36, an in-person commencement ceremony, on June 6, 2021 at 1:00 pm at the Dayton Masonic Center. Graduates are welcome to invite up to four guests. The Modern will live stream the commencement ceremony on Facebook for those who are unable to attend.
Family and friends of graduates are invited to Reveal36 on Sunday, June 6 for one of two sessions at 4:00–6:00 pm or 6:00–8:00 pm after Commencement36.
“We are excited to unveil our new Modern graduates at Reveal36 and celebrate their accomplishments at our commencement ceremony,” states President Jessica Barry. “We especially look forward to unveiling the first portfolios from the Bachelor’s Degree Completion Program.“
To protect the health of guests and to comply with current state mandates, The Modern will limit attendance at each event. Mask wearing and social distancing are required. The Modern’s administration will continue to follow state and CDC guidance and update plans if needed.
