SAA Starts Largest Class to Date

A record number of 128 first-year students and 84 second-year students will be starting classes.
The School of Advertising Art’s 2017-2018 school year commences on Monday, August 28. A record number of 128 first-year students and 84 second-year students will be starting classes. The college has seen an enrollment increase of 54% in the last three years, necessitating the need for a campus expansion.

SAA’s admissions department saw more candidates while recruiting the Class of 2019 and was still able to keep a competitive acceptance rate of 51%. The average GPA of incoming first-year students surpasses previous classes, reaching a median of 3.1.

The expansion of SAA’s campus has made great strides since the announcement was made in May. The campus’s 23,000 square-foot-addition is projected to be complete by early 2018.

The two-year graphic design college is continuing to pursue a Bachelor’s degree completion program. This program will provide students with increased options for advancement in their professional careers.

SAA is anticipating a very successful year as it continues to educate the next generation of design professionals.
