Graphic Design USA Magazine named two students from The Modern College of Design, Mariya Dydyk and Rob Keel, to the magazine’s influential “Students to Watch” list for 2023.

GDUSA, a national graphic design publication, recognized the nation’s top design students in the February 2023 issue. Other students on the list attend colleges such as Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD), Academy of Art University, and Rhode Island School of Design (RISD).

Originally from Ukraine, Mariya Dydyk came to America in the seventh grade and fell in love with graphic design. She enjoys using her creative skills to help volunteer organizations and aims to specialize in branding and package design. Mariya is a second-year student studying design at the Modern’s Kettering campus.

Rob Keel is a fourth-year student studying design leadership online. From Huntsville, Alabama, Rob fell in love with user experience and user interface design at The Modern. Rob’s greatest strength is solving problems with practical solutions to improve overall user experience. He plans to launch his career as a UX/UI designer this year.

“I am thrilled that GDUSA Magazine recognized Mariya and Rob for their talent, success, leadership, and influence,” shared Jessica Barry, president of The Modern. “This national recognition is well deserved and will help them expand their professional networks across the globe.”
