The American Advertising Federation Dayton (AAF-Dayton) hosted its annual Hermes Awards February 17. Thecompetition recognizes excellence in marketing, advertising, and design with selected pieces winning silver, bronze, and gold ADDY awards.

SAA is proud to have had so many faculty, students, alumni, and friends honored at the event hosted at the Marriott at the University of Dayton.

SAA offers special congratulations to faculty member Kelly Mercer on Boom Crate Studios’ winning of Best of Show as well as five golds, ten silvers, and ten bronze awards. Mercer is co-owner and creative director at Boom Crate, a studio that employs three SAA grads.

Reka Juhasz, a 2009 alum, also received high recognition at the event including two Judge’s Choice awards, three golds, and three silver awards. Two of these awards were for a piece that is an annual collaboration of SAA alums.
