Molly Boatman (Class of 2017) credits the skills, knowledge, and connections that she gained while at SAA as the driving factors that have enabled her to succeed in her position as a public information assistant at the Public Health office for Dayton and Montgomery County, a position she’s held since July 2017.
Molly’s artwork was recently posted onto three billboards in the Dayton area — something that she said she never thought she’d see! In her role, Molly designs graphics for annual reports, calendars, brochures, and PowerPoint presentations for the organization, and also helps with other projects that come in to her department, including running social media.
The Public Health office for Dayton & Montgomery County is located in downtown Dayton and works to safeguard the health of residents in the area by working to protect the air, food, drinking water, and many everyday aspects of a healthy Montgomery County through ongoing community-wide effort with schools, hospitals, community organizations, and neighborhood groups.
