Victoria is a 2017 graduate of The Modern. While in school, Victoria took classes to become a well-rounded Graphic Designer focusing on web design. After graduation, she moved to Columbus and began working as a Creative Designer for Wowbrands. While at Wowbrands, Victoria focused on graphic design, marketing, and animation.
During the pandemic, Victoria had the opportunity to relocate to Sarasota, FL, to be close to her family and continue to work remotely for Wowbrands.
After Victoria’s time with Wowbrands, she transitioned to Dream Large. Dream Large is a marketing agency that focuses on Non-Profits. Victoria loved her time with Dream Large. Getting to work in the non-profit sector of design was very rewarding! Victoria is currently in another rewarding position as the Marketing Coordinator for the Homeless Coalition in Sarasota, FL. As the Marketing Coordinator, she focuses on increasing the Homeless Coalition’s social media presence, organizing social events, and creating print and digital marketing materials.
The non-profit sector of the design industry has some amazing careers to offer. Some larger non-profit organizations may have the means to employ a dedicated designer and/or marketing team on staff. While others may source out their marketing and design needs to a freelance designer. However, if a designer is hired to work for a non-profit, it will likely be a rewarding and fulfilling career path!
We can’t wait to see where Victoria’s path in design takes her in the future!
