New Student Success Center Opens at The Modern

[KETTERING, OH, 10/2/18] – The Modern College of Design unveiled today its newest addition to campus: the Student Success Center. The Center is led by two new full-time staff members and is a space for student-centered services such as advising, workshops, community programs, clubs, and tutoring programs.

President Jessica Barry commented, “The new Student Success Center is a comprehensive support center providing personalized services to empower students and help them achieve their academic, personal, and professional career goals.”

The Modern is awarding over $450,000 in institutional scholarships and awards this year to incoming students. The scholarships and awards are based on academic achievement and merit and are awarded on a first come, first served basis. The Modern’s early enrollment deadline is December 31, and its final deadline is July 1, however, space is limited.

The two-year design college is continuing to pursue a Bachelor’s degree completion program in design leadership. This program will provide students with increased options for advancement in their professional careers.
