The National Student Advertising Competition, sponsored by the American Advertising Federation (AAF), is the premier college advertising competition in the nation, providing more than 2,000 students the experience of creating a strategic advertising, marketing, and media campaign for a corporate sponsor. Students develop a marketing plan and pitch their work to sponsors and advertising professionals at the district, semi-final, and national levels.

The team will present their campaign to a panel of judges at the National Student Advertising Competition District 5 event scheduled for April 2023 in Columbus, Ohio. Friends and family are welcome to attend the competition and support the team. The Modern will share more event details as they become available.

“It’s exciting each year to see a new NSAC team form at The Modern and start their preparation for the district competition,” stated Jessica Barry, president of The Modern. “This team has acquired a diverse range of design, marketing, and business skills that will help them create an incredible campaign for Indeed.”
