The Modern Announces 2024 NSAC Team

The Modern College of Design introduced the students and faculty advisors chosen to represent The Modern in the 2024 National Student Advertising Competition. Students, faculty, and staff gathered on campus to congratulate the students and faculty.

The National Student Advertising Competition (NSAC), sponsored by the American Advertising Federation (AAF), is the premier college advertising competition in the nation, providing more than 2,000 students the experience of creating a strategic advertising/marketing/media campaign for a corporate sponsor. Students develop a marketing plan and then pitch their work to sponsors and advertising professionals at the district, semi-final, and national levels.

This year’s faculty advisors include returning advisors Clancy Boyer, Jan Burden, and A.J. Busé and first-time advisor Justin Morter.

“Modern students have a unique blend of design, strategic marketing, and business knowledge,” stated Jessica Barry, president of The Modern. “This knowledge, combined with their passion and drive, will make them strong competitors in this year’s competition.”
