The Modern College of Design Announces 2024 Commencement Speaker

The Modern College of Design is excited to announce that Amber Zaricor will serve as the 2024 commencement speaker. A distinguished alum of The Modern, Amber graduated in 2012 and has since gained distinction in the design industry. Amber currently heads Copperheart Creative, a Nashville-based branding agency known for its powerful storytelling and brand-building expertise. Additionally, Amber is recognized among the Top 10 Designers in Tennessee and is the passionate host of the podcast Small Business Big Heart, which explores the stories of entrepreneurship.

Amber embodies the spirit of community and creativity, organizing events like the annual Fill Your Cup Conference to support and empower women entrepreneurs. Her approach to life and business is driven by her philosophy of living intentionally and putting heart into every action, a message she is eager to share with this year's graduates.

"Amber Zaricor is a true testament to the power of heart-driven leadership and creative vision," said President Jessica Barry. "Her journey from a graduate of The Modern to a celebrated entrepreneur and community leader is an inspiring story that we are excited for her to share with our graduates."

The Modern is proud to host its 2024 Commencement Ceremony on June 9, 2024, at the Dayton Masonic Temple in Dayton, Ohio.
