The Modern Library offers students the latest print and digital resources to complete projects, discover design history, and stay in tune with industry trends. For research support, librarians are available to help students explore the collection and navigate databases. Books, magazines, DVDs, graphics tablets, and CD/DVD drives can be checked out.

Photography Studio

All students have access to reserve and use The Modern Photography Studio, a professional studio that is equipped with cameras and lighting accessories. For off-site needs, students can borrow equipment. And for those larger subjects (let’s just say, a car!), the studio has a loading dock and garage entry door.

Print Resource Center

The Print Resource Center, dubbed “The Green Room,” is The Modern’s production space. Print design files on our high-speed color printers; trim, score, and bind projects; all tools are at students’ fingertips. The Center is open when classes are in session.

Student Lounge and Common Spaces

From outdoor patios to lounge seating to ping-pong, The Modern campus has several common areas for relaxing or just hanging out with friends. The student lounge is a great space to store lunch on a busy day or to work on projects between classes.
