The Modern College of Design invites employers and the community to its Kettering campus this Friday for its first digital exhibition-Reveal36.

The Modern’s staff has spent weeks installing 71 digital displays throughout campus to stream the incredible portfolios of The Modern’s 36th graduating class. This Friday, June 4, from 11:30 am to 3:00 pm, employers and the community are invited to The Modern’s campus to experience this one-of-a-kind event.

The Modern invested in a new digital format to reflect the trends seen throughout the design industry. Demand for skills in digital design, motion, video, and social media content creation has increased steadily, and the global pandemic accelerated this demand further. The world is now even more reliant on devices, applications, and digital experiences, and the Modern graduates will meet the growing demands. With a heightened need for design talent, 100% of the graduates have completed at least one internship or co-op, and over 50% have jobs that extend past graduation. The students completed internships and co-ops in one of the most challenging employment markets in U.S. history.

“The visual impact of 71 digital displays lining the halls of campus and streaming work that is in extremely high demand is incredible to witness,” states President Jessica Barry. “We especially look forward to unveiling the portfolios from our first graduates of the Bachelor’s Degree Completion Program in Design Leadership.“

The Modern is offering two sessions. Graduates will accompany their work during the first session from 11:30 am–1:00 pm. Those who wish to view portfolios only can explore the exhibition from 1:30–3:00 pm.
