Modern Students and Alumni Honored at CSCA Creative Best Awards

Columbus Society of Communicating Arts (CSCA), a nonprofit organization that promotes communication design and a better understanding of the visual, written, and interactive arts, held their annual Creative Best Awards on Thursday, November 17, 2022. Students, alums, faculty, and staff from The Modern College of Design were honored for exceptional work in the areas of digital, campaign, print, and photography.

Students, faculty, and staff traveled to Columbus to attend the awards ceremony and network with over 100 creatives from Columbus’ top design and advertising firms.  

“We appreciate this outstanding recognition from the Columbus Society of Communicating Arts,” stated Jessica Barry, Modern President. “We are proud of our faculty and alumni and their impressive work.”

The judging panel included Mike Hahn, whose work has been featured on BBC World News, Architectural Digest, and Apartment Therapy, Dr. Jacinda N. Walker, with clients including Amazon, Adobe, Target, and Kellogg, and Jason Walker, a design director and photographer from Southeastern Michigan.
