Student Achieves National Recognition in Advertising Competition

The American Advertising Federation announced the District 5 ADDY competition results, and a student from The Modern College of Design secured top honors. Participants from Ohio, Kentucky, and West Virginia who achieved silver or gold ADDY awards at their local clubs competed in this prestigious event.

Third-year student Mariya Dydyk won a student Gold ADDY for her Strongsville City Branding project. The district also recognized Instructor Clancy Boyer for his guidance and support in Mariya's work.

"We are thrilled to see Mariya's development into a remarkable designer throughout her time at The Modern," shared Jessica Barry, President of The Modern College of Design. "It's been inspiring to watch her grow, and we are excited to see her continue to thrive in our Design Leadership Program."

Mariya's outstanding work has earned her a place in the AAF National ADDY Competition. The winners will be announced during the American Advertising Awards Gala in Salt Lake City, Utah, on May 31, 2024.
