
The American Advertising Federation-Dayton hosted its 2025 American Advertising Awards on March 7, 2025, at the Presidential Banquet Center in Kettering, Ohio. The Modern's students, alums, faculty, and staff earned awards across the student and professional ADDY categories. Many Modern alums were honored in each category for exceptional illustration, graphic design, video, and more.

Flint and Mariya, both part of The Modern’s Design Leadership program, spent the semester pushing their creative limits and refining their work. Through countless hours of iteration, problem-solving, and attention to detail, they brought their projects to life in ways that demonstrated both their technical skill and strategic thinking. Their commitment to the process and willingness to challenge themselves resulted in work that stood out among the best in the region.
The Modern’s marketing team was also recognized.

Those who won a Gold or Silver award advance to the District Five ADDYs competition and will compete with other students and professionals from Ohio, Kentucky, and West Virginia.
