The Modern's Students and Alumni Win Hermes Awards from AAF-Dayton

The American Advertising Federation-Dayton hosted its annual Hermes Awards tonight, and The Modern's students earned over 20 awards across the student and professional bronze, silver, and gold ADDY categories. Many Modern alumni were honored in each category for exceptional video, animation, illustration, and more.

Two Modern students in the Design Leadership Program won gold student and professional ADDY awards.

Josh Marruffo won the student gold ADDY for his Kikkoman package design. The award is named "The Dan Johnson Award for Creative Achievement," after Dan Johnson, a respected designer, artist, and mentor who served as an instructor at The Modern for many years.

Aryn Landes won three professional gold ADDYs and a Judge’s Choice Award for her work with JetPack, an alumni-owned web design firm, for a Black Lives Matter poster and the JetPack Activity Book.
