The Modern College of Design joined creatives from Columbus’ top design and advertising firms to celebrate the region’s finest creative talent and network with industry professionals. Among the agencies represented were Bonfire Red, Pixel Park, MA Design, and Fort, which employ alums Liz Anderson (Pixel Park), Alicia Orlando (MA Design), Branson Kurtz (Fort), Logan Fischer (Bonfire Red), and Brent Presley (Bonfire Red), all of whom were also recognized as winners at this year’s Creative Best.
“We are honored to be recognized once again by the Columbus Society of Communicating Arts,” said Jessica Barry, President of The Modern College of Design. “These awards highlight the exceptional talent and creativity of our students, alumni, faculty, and staff.”
The judging panel for this year’s Creative Best Awards featured distinguished industry leaders, including Jessica Valis, Owner and Co-Founder of Creative Circle Collective Company; Monique Jenkins, CEO and Co-Founder of Creative Circle Collective Company; and Bri-Anna Lewis, Senior Product Designer and Educator. Jessica Valis praised The Modern’s marketing team, who won a Judge’s Choice Award for their bold and colorful recruitment campaign, stating, “In a world where you can be ‘professional’ and ‘academic,’ why not be bold and colorful! There is no mistaking The Modern is an institute for creativity with this design.”
Students from the Columbus College of Art & Design, Cleveland Institute of Art, and The Ohio State University were also recognized for their work.
The Modern congratulates all the winners for their incredible achievements and contributions to the creative community.
